Elaine Barrie

Proud owner and founder of Barber Road and has over 30 years experience in the hair industry. Starting out as a Stylist at Green’s Hairdressers in Edinburgh then spent a year and a half in New Zealand where she fell in love with gents barbering at Vinny’s Barber Shop. After a few years in New Zealand Elaine returned to Edinburgh in 2016 and continued barbering within a few different salons and in 2017 she lived her dream and opened Barber Road - a highly skilled barbering service and unique environment, with a strong presence within the community.

Paul

Paul took his first leap into the barbering industry at the age of 40, working two jobs and attending college for three years to gain his qualification in barbering. Paul joined the Barber Road team while studying his level 3, after owner Elaine could see his enthusiasm and the care he put into his haircuts. 

Over the past year Paul has built up a regular and loyal clientele based not only on his passion but his eye for detail, making each customer walk out feeling like a new man.

Wiktoria Soroka

Wiktoria comes to us from Poland after training in hairdressing and barbering for 4 years, and working for another 4 years in the industry.

Specialising in Skinfades and Razor work as well as scissor cuts, she has an excellent eye for detail and puts her all into getting the perfect finish.

Liam

Liam began his journey as a barber training in Glasgow before moving to Edinburgh after qualifying. When he joined us at barber road he was studying part time for his business management degree while continuing to build his skills in the barbering industry. Now full time, Liam brings his passion for fades and cutting edge styles to the chair. Being a huge football fan and having a genuine interest in the people he meets through his work, you will never be short of a good chat and a great service when you book with him.
